7th Co-Defendant In Young Thug’s RICO Case Accepts Plea Deal

Antonio Sledge becomes the seventh person to take a plea deal in the YSL RICO indictment against rapper Young Thug.

Every other day it appears a new co-defendant is accepting a plea deal and Antonio Sledge is no different. As seen via Law & Crime and shared by Akademiks on IG, Sledge has accepted all terms of his plea deal. The 41-year-old pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to violate the RICO Act and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

In return for his freedom, Sledge was hit with a 15 year promotion. Sledge joins others such as Antonio “Obama” Sumlin, Gunna, Walter Murphy, Slimelife ShawtyLil Duke and Young Thug’s brother Unfoonk, all who accepted plea deals.

Many believe those who have accepted plea deals will soon take the stand which could further hurt Young Thug’s chances of beating the case. Recently during an interview with VLAD TV, DL Hughley said that the government “don’t give nothing for nothing.”

Tekashi 69 appears to agree with Hughley and questions those who aren’t keeping the “same energy,” as they did with him. “3rd slide is where ITS Very CLEAR that boy got probation in exchange for his testimony. Can’t even look into the camera. I would just keep scrolling but it’s funny how no one got the same energy for black rappers who openly on video cooperate with the law,” Tekashi 69 commented on Akademiks IG post.

The number of defendants is currently down to 21 ahead of the January trial date. Jury selection for the RICO case is set to begin on January 4.
