Touring Is Part of Drake’s New Year Resolution for 2023

During an exclusive and rare interview, Drake spoke to Roshtein and revealed his new year’s resolution for 2023 which includes touring again.

“Stop losing so much on Stake,” Drake said jokingly. Ironically, Drake would continue to lose. Here at Hip Hop XXIV, we mistakenly reported that Drake had won $1.75 million after Argentina won the World Cup. (View: Drake Wins $1.75 Million After Argentina Wins World Cup) Although Drake sided with Messi and Argentina, the bet was only valid if a win was achieved within 90 minutes of regular regulation. Instead, Drake lost his $1 million dollar wager, thanks to Kylian Mbappé’s last-minute goal before the penalty shootout.

Getting back on track, Drake revealed what his new year’s resolution really is. “I just really want to continue down the path that I’m on. I feel extremely healthy. I feel I am in the best shape mentally, physically in my life. I’ve been spending so much time with my family and my son,” Drake said.”

And who can argue. 2022 has been a successful year for Drizzy. Breaking all types of records became the norm for the rapper. Starting off the year Drake became the first artist in history to surpass 50 billion streams on Spotify. Drake also overthrew The Beatles and their 55-year-old record, when Drizzy became the only artist to have the most top five hits in Billboard Hot 100 history.

Drake also has the third longest-charting rap album (Take Care) in history. Trailing only Eminem and Kendrick Lamar. And of course it doesn’t end there. Closing out the year Drake is also tied with Lil Baby for most Hot 100 entries in 2022, with 40 each.

Drake was also asked what he is looking forward to most in 2023. “Touring. I’m looking forward to going. It’s one thing to make the music, but it’s another thing to see it, the most gratifying feeling. When people come up to you and say, ‘Man this song means so much to me’ or ‘Yo, you’re like an inspiration,’ of course those things touch you. But, it is different when you’re performing and you look out in the crowd and someone boxed eyes with you, you can tell that it’s a moment for them. I miss that so much” Drake said referring to touring again in 2023 after a four drought.
