T.I. Is Ready To Step Away From The Music Industry With “Kill The King”

T.I. is sticking to his plan of leaving the music industry with his final album “Kill The King”, as he reveals in new music video “What It’s Come To”.

The new single is clearly about his former friend Sabrina Peterson who had accused T.I. of holding a gun to her head and since has turned into a couple of individuals coming after T.I and his wife with various accusations. From T.I.’s perspective the current situation from start to the present is played out in the music video.

Behind the foreign cars, clothes, and expensive jewelry
I got a heart made of gold, motive be the purest
And they say hell have no fury like a woman’s scorn
F— that, I’m crankin’ up the jury, who you lyin’ on shawty?
Extortion, is that what you got your mind on, shawty?
Tell ’em, “Get it how you live, shawty, I ain’t goin’ for it

The video closes out with the official cover art for T.I.’s final album “Kill The King”. This shouldn’t as a surprise, T.I. who appeared on The Breakfast Club back in 2017, stated he would be done with music soon. “I’m ready to get the hell outta the rap game,” T.I. said. “I got this next album, I got three albums in my head I’ve already conceptualized. Once I get them out, I’m done.”

Since that Breakfast Club interview T.I. released two studio albums. “Dime Trap” was the first released in 2018 and “The L.I.B.R.A.” the second of the three albums released in 2020. “Kill The King” will be the third and final album.
