Lil Tjay Arrested In New York On His Way To Ice Spice Video Shoot

Bronx rapper Lil Tjay was arrested in New York and is currently in police custody for an alleged weapons violation.

On Monday afternoon rapper Lil Tjay was on his way to shoot a music video with fellow Bronx female artist Ice Spice, when unfortunately the “Run It Up” rapper never made it.

As reported by ABC News, the 21-year-old was traveling in a black Cadillac Escalade, along West 183rd Street and Ryer Avenue in the Bronx, when police conducted a car stop.

The arrest occurred at around 4 p.m., as Lil Tjay was in the vehicle with four other individuals. Three hours before his arrest, Tjay was excited to shoot a video alongside Ice Spice. “Video shooot today lol it’s litt,” he wrote in his Instagram story.

Ice Spice also commented about her video shoot on Sunday when she wrote,” Video shoot tmm who poppin out??”

Lil Tjay had been focusing on living life to the fullest, while counting his blessings. “Beyond grateful to be able to hit that stage yesterday, GOD IS GOOD !🙏🏾💖 #love2all,” wrote the rapper back in September. Back in June of 2022, the rapper suffered multiple gunshot wounds during a shooting in Edgewater, New Jersey.
