EDI Mean, who is known for recording platinum records alongside childhood friend Tupac Shakur, is grateful to be alive. The rapper/author/podcast host, suffered what he called a massive heart attack after leaving the gym on Monday (June 3).
“My old way of life caught up with me yesterday and even though I’ve come a long way I still got some more work to do. I had a massive heart attack yesterday leaving the gym,” wrote EDI in the caption along with a photo of himself on the hospital bed.
“Ironically the doctors said it would have been a wrap for me but the lifestyle changes I made in 2020 are the reason I’m still here,” he added. The legendary rapper who appeared on Tupac’s classic Hit ‘Em Up record, is referring to his weight lost diet which transformed his life dramatically.
