As the Young Thug RICO case awaits trial, Lil Gotit claps back at those claiming Young Thug is communicating to the outside world.
Jury Selection will begin on Thursday (January 5), as trial for the high profile case involving rapper Young Thug is on the horizon. A case that started with 28 defendants, now stands with far less as many have accepted plea deals.
Gunna, Walter Murphy, Slimelife Shawty, Lil Duke and Young Thug’s brother Unfoonk, are some of the defendants who accepted plea deals last month. With that came the belief that Young Thug perhaps ordered his YSL associates to accept plea deals in exchange for their freedom.
Others such as Tekashi 69 and Wack 100 quickly denounced rumors, citing that those who accepted plea deals will most likely have to take the stand against Thugga. In fact, Wack 100 during a Clubhouse session stated that he had spoken with Young Thug’s people.’
“I spoke to Young Thug’s people. They can’t really attack it, but they let me know cause they know I’ma say something. They had no idea Gunna was about to do that. Zero,” said Wack 100 on Clubhouse. “They said that the Instagram post that went up is a fan page. That ain’t there real s***.” (View: Wack 100: Gunna’s Plea Deal Surprised Young Thug’s Team)
Now Lil Gotit, brother of the late YSL rapper Lil Keed, has chimed in on the matter. After a video was shared by Akademiks where an individual claimed to have spoken to Young Thug stating that the “Potion” rapper said he “did not tell no one to take no deal.”
Taking it to his IG Story, Lil Gotit said “ain’t nobody talk to slime.” Writing on his story with, “Ya’ll tryna get back in the loop and s*** relaxxxxx this ain’t that keep pushin. God got lil Jeff ya’ll doin too much on this app mane.”
In another slide, Gotit also wrote, “It’s 2023. Everybody pray more stop entertaining bulls*** fr. Once again Jeffery is not communicating with anyone but his lawyers.”
