Funkmaster Flex Invites Tekashi 69 To Send New Music!

"I AINT JUDGE AND JURY! I DONT CARE WHOS DOING WHAT! 6IX 9INE SEND THE MUSIC!"

Funkmaster Flex has invited Tekashi 69 to send new music which will air live on Hot 97 this Thursday, saying he doesn’t care who’s doing what!

Tekashi 69 is home in New York and Funkmaster Flex has a issued a challenge to 69. Over the past weeks, the New York DJ has been issuing challenges to various artists to drop new music. Jadakiss, The Roots, Fabolous, Juelz Santana and more have been previously challenged by Funkflex.

Now hip hop’s most controversial rapper is up next. Flex issued the challenge and explained his reasoning on a Instagram post Monday morning (January 16) and asked his 2.8 million followers for their opinions.

“IM NO LONGER NOT “NOT” PLAYING 6IX 9INE MUSIC ANYMORE! (SPEAKING FOR MYSELF ONLY). OBVIOUSLY ACCORDING TO REPORTS… 😂😂😂😂😂😂 THE TREND AMONGST ALOT OF CURRENT RAPPERS (SINCE AND BEFORE 6IX 9INE) CONSIST OF COOPERATING AND TESTIFYING!,” flex said captioning a 6ix9ine video. “( BE CLEAR… MANY OF YOUR FAVORITE ARTIST COOPERATE WITH LAW ENFORCEMENT… DONT LET ME CALL NAMES) 👀 MAN WHO WE KIDDING… ITS SEEMS THAT THESE NEW RAPPERS AINT DOING 10-20 YEARS WITH / FOR NOBODY! (THEY NOT DOING 5 YEARS) 🤷🏽‍♂️.”

Cleary Funk Flex has added himself to the list of many who have chimed in on Gunna accepting a plea deal. Gunna’s decision has many contradicting themselves after blackballing Tekashi 69 for “snitching” on Trey Way resulting in an early release. Tekashi still sat nearly two years behind bars.

Flex went on to praise those who continue to stand tall on the “street code,” as he wrote on his IG caption, “BOBBY SHMURDA, ROWDY REBEL, FETTY WAP, BOOSIE AND YOUNG THUG ARE THE LAST OF THAT STAND UP TRADITION!”

Then came a shocking request from the legendary New York DJ worthy of his own signature bomb sound effect. “6IX 9INE U GOT NEW MUSIC? SEND IT! THURSDAY 7PM!,” wrote Flex.

Now the question remains, will Tekashi 69 accept Funkmaster Flex’s challenge and send over new music. There is no doubt 69 is sitting on new music. Akademiks had previously encourage the rapper to drop new music, but 69 has been reluctant to do so.

Tekashi’s single ‘Gine,’ was the Brooklyn rapper’s last release back in April of 2022.
