5 YSL Members Accept Plea Deals, Including Young Thug’s Brother
Weeks before the case goes to trial, five YSL members have accepted plea deals in return for their freedom, including Young Thug’s brother.
After Gunna took the first plea deal, four other YSL members have taken their own plea deals, including Young Thug’s brother Unfoonk. Entering a negotiated guilty plea deal on December 20, was YSL’s (Young Stoner Life) Unfoonk, real name Quantavious Grier.
Part of Grier’s plea deal, the rapper cannot have any contact with his brother Young Thug. As reported by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the YSL artist pleaded guilty to one count of violating the state’s RICO act and one count of theft by receiving stolen property.
Part of Unfoonk plea deal, the conditions are as followed:
- Original 12-year sentence was split into two years, with time served granted
- 10 years probation
- He will also have to serve 750 hours of community service
- Must maintain a curfew
Unfoonk is now the fifth member out of the 28 original defendants to have entered a negotiated guilty plea. Gunna being the first, who accepted the terms of a “Alford Plea,” also has to follow specific conditions, which includes 500 hours of community service and a four-year suspended sentence. Walter Murphy, Slimelife Shawty and Lil Duke have all accepted plea deals.

Despite accepting a plea deal, Unfoonk says he is no snitch. “Damn people really think I told on my own brother smh,” he said on his IG Story. “Show me in my paper work I told on anybody LOL.” Unfoonk added that he wasn’t interested in entertaining such talk further, instead closing out his update with “peace and blessings.”
