Zoe Wees Drops “Ghost” Single, Debut EP Coming Soon

Breakout star Zoe Wees shared “Ghost,” an emotive original song from her debut EP, Golden Wings, which will be released on May 21 via Capitol Records.

Wees, who is Apple Music’s Up Next artist for April 2021, performed “Girls Like Us” on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” last week. The song, which has amassed over 110 million combined global streams, has been remixed by Felix Jaehn famed for his 2015 “Cheerleader” remix. “Girls Like Us” remains entrenched in the Spotify Global Top 200 and, with over 33 million U.S. streams to date, America is Wees’ #1 streaming market for the song. “Control,” her first single, became a worldwide hit and entered the top 20 at Pop radio in the U.S.

Zoe Wees (Jeff Hahn)

“‘Ghost’ was written about letting someone get too close, even if you know they can hurt you. It’s about the feeling of being vulnerable to that person in a way that could basically destroy your life. It was written in one of my first writing sessions, so it feels special to release it.”
