Tupac’s “Hit ‘Em Up” Causes An Uproar On Math Hoffa’s Podcast

Tek-N-Steele appeared on Math Hoffa’s ‘My Expert Opinion’ and things quickly went left, as an altercation occurred over Tupac Shakur’s lyrics in “Hit ‘Em Up.”

Often dubbed as the greatest diss record of all time, Tupac did not hold back on his classic “Hit ‘Em Up” record. As Tupac aligned himself with Suge Knight and Death Row records, Shakur and the Outlawz dropped the most vicious diss song in hip hop history. From claiming to have slept with Biggie Small’s wife to dissing Lil Kim, Lil Cease and just about anyone associate with Bad Boy records, Tupac was clearly on a mission.

Always a hot topic, the east coast west coast generates emotions and often old wounds reopened. This was the case when Legendary rap group Tek-N-Steele defended accusations over Tupac’s “Hit ‘Em Up” lyrics.

Sean Bigga who joined the rap duo on Math Hoffa’s ‘My Expert Opinion’ podcast, called Tek-N-Steele traitors for associating with Tupac. According to Bigga, Tupac attacked the entire New York when Tupac allegedly said “kill or New York babies.”

Host Math Hoffa quickly checked Bigga, “You can’t just jump on camera and say this dude [Tupac] said kill all New York babies,” said an angered Math Hoffa. “He’s talking to his enemies.” Despite Bigga truly believing Tupac dissed the entire state of New York, Shakur’s actually words do not indicate such claims.

Towards the end of the song, Tupac is heard saying, “All of y’all motherf*****s, f*** you, die slow! Motherf*****, my .44 make sho’ all y’all kids don’t grow!”

Tek-N-Steele, who linked with Tupac at his home in L.A. during the height of the alleged East Coast West Coast war, also were not too happy about Bigga’s comments. As seen in the clip below, Steele attempted to patch things up, but Tek did not appreciate Bigga continuing to twist Tupac’s words. “Don’t do that,” said Tek. “And nobody in this room heard no New York babies type s***!”
