Trick Daddy Goes Live Explaining Why He Said Beyoncé Can’t Sing
After catching heat from fans, Trick Daddy isn’t changing his opinion on whether he thinks Beyoncé is a good singer or not.
Last night (June 21) Trick Daddy gave his thoughts on Beyoncé and Jay-Z on the popular Clubhouse app Monday night. “”Beyoncé don’t write music and barely can sing her motherf–kin’ self,” Trick was heard saying. “Beyoncé can’t sang! Man, I watched my godmama train Beyoncé, vocal lessons all her career.”
Trick wasn’t done yet as he compared Beyoncé to her husband Jay-Z. “Beyoncé is to R&B what Jay-Z is to New York. That’s why they together. Jay-Z ain’t never won the greatest rapper alive. Whoever put him on a level like that? New York lost Biggie, they needed a hero. They wanted to be the mega of Hip Hop and they just handed it over to Jay-Z.”
Of course this did not sit well with Beyonce’s fans, but Trick Daddy could careless. Appearing on Miami’s 99 Jamz, Trick said, “That’s my unpopular opinion.” Trick went on to praise the Carters as “wonderful business people”, but did not change his mind from what he said on the Clubhouse app.
In fact, Trick Daddy went Live on Facebook and Instagram Tuesday afternoon (June 22) echoing what he said on the Clubhouse app. He would also go to name some of his favorite singers. “
“Beyoncé the number one performer I’ve ever seen besides Michael Jackson and Chris Brown,” Trick Daddy said kicking off his explanation. “Can she sing? Yeah, but she can’t sang She ain’t in my top. Beyoncé ain’t Stephanie Mills, she ain’t Patti Labelle, she ain’t Whitney Houston or Mariah Carey, she ain’t Adele. But, that’s my opinion.”
