Tory Lanez Responds To 30 Days Of House Arrest Order

Despite trying to stay out the way and releasing new music, Tory Lanez finds himself under 30 days of house arrest.

As reported by TMZ, Tory Lanez was ordered to house arrest starting on Friday October 28th. The 30 day house arrest order comes after prosecutors argued that Lanez deserved to be remanded into custody because — in their eyes — he’d violated the conditions of his bail in the Meg case. During a hearing on Wednesday (October 26), prosecutors believe Lanez continues to pose a threat to public safety and that monetary bail alone wasn’t enough of a deterrent.

It all came down to Tory Lanez alleged alteration with August Alsina this past September. Despite no evidence of the altercation, which was pointed out by Lanez attorney, Shawn Holley, Tory was hit with house arrest.

The rapper/singer is required to wear a GPS ankle monitor starting this Friday until his house arrest comes to an end when the Megan Thee Stallion trail begins November 28th.

Immediately after Wednesday’s hearing, TMZ caught up with the Tory where he said that he’s a Black man “fighting the world,” calling the allegations “cap.” Lanez also took to his official Instagram account sharing photos of his time in court with the following caption, “They’ll laugh now …. I’ll laugh later …. 🎟️😈🎪🎨.”
