Tory Lanez Found Guilty On All Charges, Sentencing Set For January 27

After nearly two weeks of trial, Tory Lanez has been found guilty on all charges in the 2020 shooting of Megan Thee Stallion.

According to Instagram account @lawyerforworkers, Tory Lanez did not react when the verdict was read. All twelve jurors found Tory Lanez guilty on all charges stemming from the 2020 shooting of Megan Thee Stallion.

Unlike Tory, his father was extremely upset and livid when the verdict came down and had to be taken away by Sheriffs. “Tory Lanez’s father stood up guest and screamed. “This is a wicked system!” He screamed at the prosecutors that they are evil and they know exactly what they did here. His stepmother stood up screaming and yelling. Father was yelling about “Roc Nation,” tweeted Meghann Cuniff. Lanez father outside of court was heard yelling, “It’s not over! God does not lose!.”

Tory Lanez was taking into custody, with no bond, and now awaits a sentencing date of January 27, 2023. “Tory Lanez was remanded on the spot, led out in handcuffs by sheriff’s deputies,” Cuniff said in a separate tweet. “There were six total in the courtroom, two at door and four behind Lanez, and there was quite a scene when they tried to get Lanez’s father and stepmother under control.”

Following the verdict, Los Angeles County district attorney George Gascón commended Megan Thee Stallion for her “bravery.”

“You showed incredible courage and vulnerability with your testimony despite repeated and grotesque attacks that you did not deserve,” said Gascón. “You faced unjust and despicable scrutiny that no woman should ever face and you have been an inspiration to others across LA County and the nation.”

Tory Lanez was found guilty on the following charges:

  • Charged with assault with a semiautomatic firearm and carrying a loaded
  • Unregistered firearm in a vehicle
  • Discharging a firearm with gross negligence
