During his recent interview on Drink Champs, The Game has officially challenged Eminem to a Verzuz and claims he is better than Slim Shady.
The Compton native, who came out of retirement, is set to drop his tenth studio album “Drillmatic.” As he gears up for his release, which has also consisted of a new single “Eazy” featuring Kanye West, The Game is not holding back. Whether he believes it or not, The Game who has the upmost respect for Eminem, has challenged Marshall Mathers to a Verzuz. In fact, The Game says he is better than Em.
“Eminem, Eminem is Eminem. I like Eminem, he’s one of the f–king good emcees, great emcees,” said Game. “I used to think Eminem was better than me. He not. He not. He’s not. Ay, challenge it.” Noreaga added by saying The Game wouldn’t want to do a Verzuz against Eminem. To which Game answered, “Yes, I do! What do you mean? The f–k you mean?”
Recently Eminem Verzuz Busta Rhymes has been on the radar. Those in the industry have chimed in, including Verzuz co-founder Swizz Beatz who is all for a Busta Verzuz Eminem. Crooked I on the other hand does not agree. “I’m not sold on Busta Vs Em.. I feel like it makes sense to people because they both know how to rap fast but after that happens the catalogs go in two completely different directions imo,” he wrote on Twitter.
Fat Joe, during an IG live stated that no one wants a Verzuz with Busta Rhymes. “You gotta understand, sometimes you ever notice — you seen boxers and they knock everybody out? People be scared to fight those boxers. Busta Rhymes is gonna outrap, outperform anybody who goes up in a Verzuz with him. That’s a fact. Yo, Busta Rhymes nobody wanna get in there with you, man. You might have to be an honorary — they gotta give you the check for no reason.”
For The Game, it doesn’t matter if its Eminem or whoever. “It’s not drama!… Swizz Beatz and Timbaland know that it’s bigger than Verzuz,” Game added. “I’m not saying I want smoke with Eminem, I’m saying I want smoke with Eminem, him, and him, whoever.”
Eminem and The Game both collaborated on the 2015 song “We Ain’t” off Game’s “The Documentary” album.
