Tekashi 69’s New Song Will Have Surprise Feature

Tekashi 69’s new song will be dropping soon as it was announced on a recent upload on the SteveWillDoIt YouTube channel.

Since his release from prison in April of 2020, Tekashi released four singles which were featured on his “TattleTales” studio album. Released in September, “TattleTales” peaked at number 4 on the Billboard 200 despite 6ix9ine being black balled from the industry for his “snitching.” Surprisingly the album had two high profile artists in Akon and Nicki Minaj.

Now it appears Tekashi 69 is making a return with a new single this Friday (August 20). The new song will have a surprise featured which has yet to be revealed.

As seen on SteveWillDoIt, the 22-year-old YouTuber has convinced Tekashi to drop new music. Steve claims Tekashi’s new song is “f—king insane.” In the video Tekashi is seen in studio with Steve as they await the arrival of the surprise featured artist for the upcoming single.

Tekashi also explains why he hasn’t dropped new music since last year. According to The Brooklyn rapper he has not been in a studio roughly seven months. “I stopped making music for a lot of reasons. Mentally I wasn’t there,” Tekashi explained. “I feel if mentally I’m not all right in my head then the way I express it in the music is not gonna be the same. So I had to mentally get right and just spend time with family.”

Tekashi has been a hot topic as of late after his sit down with Wack 100 on Akademiks new “Off The Record” podcast. (Watch: Wack 100 Says 6ix9ine Showed Up With No Security!) Since then Tekashi also called out Jim Jones for being part of 6ix9ine’s kidnapping and robbery that occurred back in 2018. Jones never did time behind bars, unlike Anthony Ellison who was also involved and sentenced to 24 years in prison.
