Tekashi 69 is ready to release new music on Friday April 15th. After spending months away from social media, the Brooklyn rapper made the announcement on Instagram to his 21 million followers. The 1 minute long video showcases a newly reborn 6ix9ine, stating that “the beast awakens” on April 15th.

Although Tekashi 69 has not released music for over a year, that has not stopped him from making headlines. Shortly after releasing the one minute trailer for his comeback, Tekashi 69 shared a message via his IG Story. “When I left and took a break, I didn’t say a word to no one,” he wrote. “I didn’t need to explain nothing. I just did it. I woke up and now I want to take over again. Now get out of my way. The King of New York is Back,” he wrote.
