Tekashi 69 Pays Tribute To XXXTentacion At TrillerFest Miami

In his second concert appearance since his release from prison in 2020, Tekashi 69 paid tribute to who he calls “King Of Florida”, XXXTentacion.

In front of 15,000 fans in attendance at Marine Stadium, Tekashi 69 performed many of his signature hits as he told the crowd on hand he is without a doubt the “King Of New York”. “There’s only one king of New York and that’s me,” Tekashi 69 said. “Nobody did for New York, what I did for New York. The numbers. The money.”

Moments later, Tekashi gave it up to his late friend XXXTentacion as he rocked out to X’s “F—ed Up” and shared the last time the two spoke. “I hope ya’ll ain’t forget about my friend X. It’s funny cause most of you don’t know the story,” Tekashi told the crowd on hand at TrillerFest. “X DM’ed me and told me, ‘Never let your guard down’ and that week he died. He didn’t have to do that.”

Just as he did a week ago when he jumped off a balcony, Tekashi 69 jumped into the crowd, this time with no jewelry or a fitted cap. Either way the Brooklyn rapper appeared to be having the time of his life. After his performance, Tekashi declared he is the best performer in the rap game as he posted highlights Sunday afternoon (May 2) from his TrillerFest performance. “IM THE BEST PERFORMER IN THE RAP GAME ‼️🌈🌈🌈🌈 15,000 PEOPLE IN MIAMI THANK YOU SO MUCH I LOVE YOU 💛💜💚💙🧡❤️💛 BY THE WAY I SEEN A LOT OF YOU GANGSTERS IN THE CROWD 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭.”
