Suge Knight Still Has Bullet Fragment From Night Tupac Was Shot, Talks Tory Lanez

Suge Knight spoke about Tory Lanez trial, while revealing he still has bullet a fragment inside his head from the night Tupac was shot.

Days after Tory Lanez shocked the world by hiring former Death Row records attorney, David Kenner, Suge Knight who is all too familiar with Kenner chimed in. Tory Lanez, who was found guilty on all charges days before Christmas, is prepared to overturn the ruling and win his appeal. With Jose Baez and David Kenner on his defense team, Lanez is hopefully of a completely different outcome. (View: Former Snoop Dogg Attorney David Kenner Hired By Tory Lanez)

Suge Knight, who was represented by Kenner for years, recently spoke exclusively with Rolling Stone. During the jailhouse call, Knight was asked to give his thoughts on Tory Lanez hiring his former attorney.

“If they’d have let me use David Kenner, I wouldn’t be having this conversation from prison with you,” Suge Knight said during the call. “If he’s guilty, that’s one thing. But if he didn’t have the right person representing him to get a fair shake, that’s another thing.”

Knight also claims he can relate to Megan Thee Stallion, as he brought up an interesting analogy. “I understand what Megan goes through because when Tupac and I got shot in Vegas… I got a fragment and a bullet an inch to my skull today. They didn’t remove it because they said if it went another inch I’d have been a vegetable or dead… So I know what it’s like when people say, ‘You didn’t get shot, this didn’t happen, she’s lying.’ They accused me of stuff (too),” Suge explained.

Back in September 7th of 1996, Suge Knight and Tupac were driving down the Vegas strip after attending the Mike Tyson boxing match, when bullets were shot into their vehicle. Tupac would ultimately lose his life 6 days later and Knight would suffer wounds to his head.

Knight is currently serving a 28-year prison sentence for the deadly incident at Tam’s Burgers in Compton, California, that claimed the life of local businessman Terry Carter. Concluding his interview with Rolling Stones, Knight described what jail life might feel like for Lanez as he awaits Trial.

“Right now, Tory is probably going through [the] worst days of life, because the county jail [is] so horrible and dirty,” he said. “The food is garbage, the cell is freezing, it’s dirty and nasty. You could be sitting in your bed at night, and a rat might run across your chest, or it might bite you, roaches are all over your bed.”

Lanez sentencing has been pushed back from Jan. 27 to Feb. 28 at the earliest to give Kenner and others on the defense team time to review trial transcripts and file a motion for a new trial.
