Celebrity lookalikes is nothing new. In fact you know you have reach the heights of fame if you have a lookalike. For West coast legend Snoop Dogg, well his lookalike has been a trend as of late.
So who is the Snoop Dogg lookalike? Well his name is Eric Finch (@ericfinchofficial) and has over 26K followers on Instagram. Listed as an actor with a bio consisting of: SAG-AFTRA Actor/Performer, Snoop Dogg Body Double, Professional Lookalike, Sound Alike, and Tribute Artist.
Finch’s latest victim was mother of Co-host of the She Rates Dogs podcast, Mat George. On Sunday afternoon, Mat George posted a photo of his mother and “Snoop Dogg” with the following tweet, “I’ve been in LA for a year and haven’t seen a single celebrity. My mom comes for a weekend and meets Snoop Dogg.”
Twitter users were quickly to point out that indeed it was Mr. Finch and not the real Hip Hop icon. Hours later George responded asking everyone to stop pointing out the obvious. “Can everyone stop saying it’s not Snoop Dogg. My mom’s gonna be heartbroken the next time she logs onto Twitter,” the podcast host tweeted.
