Rick Ross Speaks To Drake About Recent Kanye West Beef
Rick Ross appeared on SiriusXM‘s “The Mike Muse Show” where he revealed talking to Drake about his recent issues with Kanye West.
During the interview, Rick Ross believes this current Drake Kanye “beef” is nothing more than a marketing plan for when they drop their new albums respectively. “To me I understand the genius to both of these artists and understand this is nothing personal to them. This is two levels of creativity, inspiring each other,” Ross explained. “Right now they’re thinking of the art work.”
Drake and Kanye West have been throwing light jabs at one another for the past few years. Their “beef” began to breathe new life this year when rumor suggested Kanye West continues to push back his “Donda” album as he waits for Drake to drop his “Certified Lover Boy” album.
Drake then appeared to take a shot at Kanye West on Trippie Redd’s “Betrayal” single. “All these fools I’m beefin’ that I barely know/ Forty-five, forty-four (burned out), let it go/ Ye ain’t changin’ sh-t, it’s set in stone,” Drake raps. Kanye was not going to let that slide as he allegedly responded back to Drake on a group text which appears to included Drizzyas well.
“I live for this. I’ve been f—-ed with by nerd ass jock n—-s like you my whole life. You will never recover. I promise you,” said Kanye on text. West would also share a photo of Joaquin Pheonix’s Joker. Kanye West wasn’t done, as he posted and deleting a screenshot of Drake’s home. A home in which apparently is not hard to find either way says Rick Ross, “Kanye posted Drake’s address on Instagram, but who didn’t have Drake’s address already. It’s the only 100 million dollar estate in Canada.”
Drake appeared to think it was a funny move by Kanye as he would later share a video on IG Story, riding in his car laughing. Rick Ross also revealed he recently spoke to Drake. “After we got off the phone he sent me a text and it was so powerful. He said, ‘Everything is unfolding. Ima about to be as free as a bird’. And he put the caption with the owl,” Rick Ross said during his interview on SiriusXM. “And I just, I couldn’t do nothing but put ‘hahahaha’.”
