MoneyBagg Joe Goes Viral And Receives National Attention
MSNBC’s Chris Cuomo discussed the latest meme trending in MoneyBagg Joe which links President Joe Biden, Hip Hop artist MoneyBagg Yo, and the $1.9 trillion Covid relief bill.
On Thursday afternoon, March 11th, President Joe Biden signed the long awaited bill which will provide a third stimulus check to millions of Americans. The bill which consist of extending $300 per week for unemployment insurance supplement, expands the child tax credit, extra funds into vaccine distribution, and everyone’s favorite $1400 in direct payments a.k.a. the stimulus check.
With that came a show of appreciation for the 46th President of the United States. Memes of Biden quickly hit social media, with a new name to represent his newly signed trillion dollar bill. Biden’s new alias became MoneyBagg Joe, stemming from Memphis rappers Hip Hop name MoneyBagg Yo.
The rapper gave his stamp of approval and also changed his Inatagram profile photo to one of Biden which resembles the rappers YouTube profile photo. The 29-year-old rapper also shared MSNBC’s coverage of the trending meme. “National News Manne Wtf 😳 Shit Done Got Outta Hand 🤦🏽♂️ 😂,” the rapper wrote in the caption.
