Michael Jackson and Tupac Shakur’s alleged altercation gets a heated response from Shakur’s childhood friend, EDI Mean.
Over the years since his demise more than 26 years ago, hundreds and thousands of stories have come out about Tupac Shakur. While many have come from trusted sources such as family and close friends, other rumors and lies have hit the internet manufactured by those who disliked the icon and or needed a click or two for their videos.
Regardless, Tupac is always a topic of discussion till this day, making it harder and harder for those who knew him best to defend him. Childhood friend and Outlawz member, EDI Mean, continues to find himself in a position where he is unfortunately entertaining the nonsense.
“Today’s topic of discussion unfortunately I have to address some more bulls***,” kicked off EDI his latest segment of Talk My Truth. “And let’s be clear the only reason I address the nonsense sometimes, I don’t address all of it because it’s so much of it and some of it it just not worth my time.”
This latest rumor which actually started back in 2018, had to be addressed according to EDI. It all started on the Did You Miss Me podcast, where comedian Boo Kapone appeared. During the hour-long episode, Kapone claimed that Michael Jackson and Tupac were involved in an altercation.
Did Tupac and Michael Jackson really fight?
According to Kapone, Michael Jackson and Tupac’s fight involved Kidada Jones. Allegedly Tupac entered a party in which Michael Jackson was also in attendance and had Kidada Jones, Tupac’s girlfriend, sitting on his lap.
“Pac moved Kidada out the way, Mike stepped in. Pac swinged. Mike dipped it, swinged back,” explained Kapone around the 45 minute mark of the interview. “Gave him one, but Pac did the little thing with the knee. They went to the ground and we broke it up.”
Putting the rumor to rest is EDI who is seen clearly annoyed and angered. “You’re gonna tell me nobody got footage of this. Nobody got a picture of this,” said EDI. “You never heard anyone else talk about that until now. Think people, think.
The Outlawz member who says he was very close to Tupac had never witnessed or heard of an altercation between these two legends. “Something like this magnitude, yeah I would have been there for that. Let’s be clear, it did not happen!” EDI also acknowledged that the story was fabricated by the comedian who was clearly joking around.
