Mase Says He Gave Fivio Foreign $5K Plus $700K
The million dollar question was finally answered, as Mase on The Million Dollaz Worth Of Game podcast, addressed Fivio Foreign’s alleged $5,000 contract.
According to Fivio who also appeared on Million Dollaz Worth Of Game podcast a week prior, Mase become a fan of the NYC rapper when he heard “Blixky Inna Box” with Jay Dee and Dee Savv. The two were later introduced and the rest was history.
“The n***a that brought me to him, he was like, ‘Yo, man. Just sign that shit, You buggin,’ I’m like, ‘Yeah, read it.’ He’s like, ‘Alright, just sign it. It’s good.’ So, I just signed it,” Fivio said before disclosing his advance was only $5,000.
Mase caught a lot of backlash given the fact he called out Diddy for treating his artists unfairly. “When I see the hurt and the pains of other people on Bad Boy, that motivates me to say something, so I don’t be deemed as a person who just made a bunch of money and turned a blind eye,” he said via Instagram Live back in May of 2022. “I’m not going to be like the rest of the people around Puff that don’t tell him he’s wrong. I’m not gonna be like the ‘yes’ men around him that see him ruining people lives and never tell him he’s wrong. More people on here will tell me I’m wrong, but won’t say anything to him. They’ll judge my beliefs, they’ll judge my Christianity, and they’ll say nothing to Puff. They’ll say nothing about it’s a concert for Biggie, and Biggie own daughter couldn’t get in. They don’t say nothing about that. But all of his friends got 50 and 60 tickets. We’re done with your games.”
Jokingly calling himself Diddy 2.0 before appearing on MDWOG, Mase explained how things went down with him and Fivio Foreign. “At one time, I gave him $5,000, but I gave him $750,000… because I set him up to do a deal to where I can control the deal, make the deal what it should be because I knew if he had the leverage, he would go in there and sell both of us out,” Mase said on MDWOG. “Then, when we went in the building, I took $800,000 and he took $700,000. The reason why it went down to $700,000 is that when I gave him $750,000 and I took $750,000, he owed me $50,000.”
