Mandy Rose On Being Fired After WWE shares Steamy Photo

Mandy Rose appeared on Tamron Hall where she talked about being fired weeks after ironically WWE shared a steamy photo of herself.

In her first interview after her release from the WWE, former NXT women champion Mandy Rose broke her silence on the Tamron Hall show. Rose, who’s real name is Amanda Rose Saccomanno, had been NXT champion for 413 days and the third-longest reigning NXT women’s champion. That was until the WWE decided to fire the 32-year-old in mid December which left Many “very hurt.”

According to WWE, Mandy was released due to violating her contract after she posted steamy photos on her Fantime page. WWE allegedly warned Rose about the photos, to which Mandy stated she complied. Still, the number one wrestling company in the world, decided to let go of one of their stop stars.

Ironically, the WWE had shared a steamy photo of Mandy Rose on their own Instagram account weeks prior to Rose being released. In the photo Mandy is covered only by her NXT women’s championship and NXT women’s UK championship titles. The very same titles in which Mandy Rose unified after defeating Satomura at NXT Worlds Collide 2022.

As far as what many felt is a contradiction, Mandy Rose clearly kept herself from outlashing at her former employer. At times during her interview on Tamron Hall, the former WWE superstar declined to comment citing certain things were “confidential.”

With that being said, Rose is grateful for the WWE, but admitted and explained why she is disappointed.

“Losing the title was obviously a gut punch. I was so disappointed,” she continued to tell Hall. “But at the end of the day my purpose was gone and that’s where I felt lost and confused, because of all the hard work that I put into it. Driving home from that, there’s a lot of things going through my mind. But at the end of the day, like I said, I love what I’ve done in WWE and I love the platform it presented me with. So I am forever grateful to them.”
