After Lil Durk’s brother OTF Dthang had passed away, Tekashi 69 and King Von’s uncle, Rang Rover Hang, respond to the tragic news.
According to TMZ who broke the news first, Durk’s older brother OTF DThang was fatally shot outside of a Chicago club. The 32-year-old who’s real name is Dontay Banks Jr., was praised by many for always giving a shot to those coming up.
Chicago producer DJ L Beats wrote on his IG Story after hearing the tragic news, “You advocated for me and my sound when most didn’t and along with Leski positioned me to get my first and second album multi-placement credits with Durk,” he wrote.
But, not everyone had kind words to share of the passing of Lil Durk’s brother. Tekashi 69 took to Instagram and expressed his true feelings once again for anyone connected to Lil Durk. Commenting on a post by Akademiks regarding the death of Lil Durk’s brother, Tekashi 69 wrote the following in the comment section with laughing emoji’s, “@lildurk tell the truth about yo Gang man they really dyin.” And on another post Tekashi commented, “@lildurk stop the senseless violence.”
6ix9ine wasn’t done yet, as he also commented on a post by The Shade Room with a sarcastic, “Rippppppppp.”
King Von’s uncle also expressed his thoughts on the passing of Lil Durk’s brother. Von’s uncle feels perhaps Durk’s mentioning Tooka in his music is what led to the passing of Durk’s brother. “Durk steady saying these n—-s names in songs like you don’t have to do that bro,” Range said. “This what got his brother shot. I’m not going to say killed because I don’t know if he dead.”
