Kevin Gates Is ALL Elite! Knocks Out AEW Wrestler On Live TV
Kevin Gates during a live television taping of AEW’s Dynamite, got into an altercation with AEW wrestler Tony Nese.
The world of wrestling and hip hop have collided on many occasions. Artists such as Snoop Dogg, Wale, Run DMC, Salt-N-Pepa, MGK and even Bad Bunny, have all had their fair share of the wrestling spotlight. Now, Kevin Gates has decided to throw himself in the mix on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite.
After being acknowledged by AEW’s new tag team champions, Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland, the rapper decided to get a piece of the action. During a segment with AEW’s Mark Sterling and Tony Nese, Gates was put to the test.
Sterling began verbally attacking Gates as he stated his music “sucks” on live television. Kevin Gates with the support of the AEW fans on hand, was not going to back down. As he walked past the barricade, Gates stood toe with wrestler Tony Nese.
Seconds later and Kevin Gates landed a right hand onto Tony Nese much to the delight of the fans. The next morning (July 21) Gates promoted his ‘Intro‘ single with an animated version of himself inside a ring. Holding a mic in hand the animated Kevin Gates raps:
“For the record, I am muslim first
Where should i begin?
I’m a general, I’m one of the men, Abpsn
I’m hospitable, Respect agreed
But we can not be friends
Social media, I’m not promoting criminal intent,”– Kevin Gates, Intro
