Jim Jones Features Fred The Godson On “Bad Boyz”

Jim Jones links up with Axel Leon, Nino Man and Fred The Godson for “Bad Boyz” produced by The Heatmakerz.

Directed by Will C and Capo, visuals for “Bad Boyz” dropped Friday (January 22). The hit single from the Dipset veteran features Bronx own Fred The Godson who sadly lost his life back on April of 2020.

Unfortunately for the rapper he contracted the coronavirus back in early April to then lose his life week later. Godson’s career appeared to be taking off after emerging on the scene back in the 2010’s.

“Bad Boyz” was officially released via Jim Jones’ 2020 album “El Capo (Deluxe Edition)“. The 31 track album was a follow up to his 2019 “El Capo
project.

Although Jones has been focused on his solo career, there is a Dipset reunion in the works. “Yes we are gonna do another Dipset album,” Jones said back in December of 2020 when asked by Fat Joe on his IG show if a Dipset reunion was on the horizon. “What’s more important for us now is figuring out if we wanna do a movie or if we wanna do a series. That’s what we trying to get into now.” (Also view: Fat Joe Samples Rihanna, Luther Vandross For “Sunshine” Single)

Most recently, Jones also commented on a post by Datpiff on Instagram where the possibly of a G-Unit Verzuz Dipset was entertained. Jones would go on and comment with, “Five cam records 5 juelz records 5 Jim records 5 Dipset records. We want all the smoke wit who ever.”
