Fat Joe On Haters Saying Latinos Wasn’t Rap: Delusional

Fat Joe always appears to make headlines and this time it was no different as the rapper’s statement of Latinos and Blacks created hip hop was met with backlash.

Joey crack, a true hip hop historian, has caught some backlash when he shared a video clip showcasing the Latino pioneers in hip hop. “Thank you Thank you Thank you for your contribution to HIP HOP,” Joe wrote in the caption. Liked by 10,000 IG users, the post was also met with backlash which the majority can be seen on Twitter.

Entrepreneur Mike Baggz was one of those who did not agree with Joe as he tweeted, “I’m not here to sh*t on Fat Joe or tear down his legacy. But his rhetoric needs to be addressed and checked. If he avoids this conversation he will be destroying his own legacy. I’m also more surprised at the guys around him that aren’t saying anything. Silence means complicit.”

The very next day, Fat Joe responded back. “You know when you win there’s always some people with hate,” Fat Joe said on his IG Live. “I never really f**k with Twitter, but I go on there to see and they always hating on me. They been lately talking about Latinos wasn’t in rap. These guys are f**king delusional. We’re from the Bronx New York sh*t happens.”

One Twitter user called out Fat Joe and DJ Khaled, who is a close friend to Joey crack. “DJ Khaled is arguably the biggest culture vulture in hip hop & we have Fat Joe (another culture vulture) to “thank” for that,” the user wrote.

“So, when hip hop started it’s Latinos and Black. Half and half. But they going at me cause I’m like the only Spanish dude with a big voice,” Fat Joe stated on his Live. “I don’t know what’s up with these people. They don’t know their facts.”
