Eminem’s “BMF” episode where he portrays “White Boy Rick” has generated incredible buzz, as the rapper gets another shot at acting.
As announced early this week Eminem will appear on the upcoming Starz series “BMF.” Eminem will have the duty of portraying “White Boy Rick” on episode number 107 which will be directed by 50 Cent. Fif took to Instagram sharing the excitement. “Episode107 of BMF is crazy, I’m gonna win a award for directing again, watch its so good @eminem came out to shoot a cameo for my episode. #bransoncognac #lecheminduroi.”
“Of course, it’s Eminem so that’s an honor to have him portray me in a series. He was actually one of the first people that was looking at doing the movie about me so it’s pretty cool that later down the line, he gets to take on this role,” Richard Wershe Jr. the real life ‘White Boy Rick’ tells TMZ. “I don’t think I have to tell him anything at all, he is a professional. Everything he does, he does very well. His music speaks for itself. He’s an icon. He’s a legend. This for him will be a small thing. I think he will kill whatever he does. I am a fan. He’s a Detroit legend. I have a huge name here (Detroit).”
Although Richard has confidence in the rapper, Eminem hasn’t had many acting roles. He appeared on the 2009 Adam Sandler movie ‘Funny People’ and of course starring in the 2002 hit ‘8 Mile.
BMF (Black Mafia Family) is an upcoming American drama television series, which follows the Black Mafia Family, a drug and money laundering organization. It is set to premiere on Starz in September 2021.
