Drake has been busy as of late on his Instagram account with his Certified Lover Boy rollout, but that didn’t stop Billboard’s top artist to show off his $300K Tupac chain.
Drake took to his Instagram Story Wednesday (September 2) sharing one of his Tupac chains created by Jason of Beverly Hills. Last year also on a Wednesday (July 29), Drake via his IG Story revealed his Tupac chains worth $600K! The two incredible pieces were created at the L.A. location in the iconic Beverly Wilshire Hotel.
Jason via Instagram thanked Drake for the opportunity. “Thank you @champagnepapi for trusting us with this project. 🙏🏼🙏🏼Unbelievable honor to help pay homage to the legend Tupac Shakur.”
A month prior to purchasing the two chains, Drake took to his Instagram story, as he shared a rare Tupac signed checked he purchased off eBay. The rare check is in mint condition and was purchased by Drizzy in the early part of 2020.
Check number 1361, was signed by Tupac Shakur with a message to a fan of his. Dining at the House of Blues at Universal Studios in Los Angeles, Tupac was approached by a fan who offered to by Shakur a drink. Shakur sitting at the end of the bar, made sure to thank his fan. Pulling his check book, Tupac ripped one check in half and wrote, “Thanx for the drink”, with his 2pac signature. E.D.I. Mean of the Outlawz confirmed to Hip Hop XXIV the authenticity and the back story of the check.

Drake, a Tupac fan himself, has shown love to the legendary icon over the years. Early in his career, Drake spoke highly off Shakur during an interview with Artisan News. “If there’s anyone I wish I could be like, it would probably be Pac. Aside from his music which was absolutely incredible, I think he drove people with who he was. The way he carried himself,” Drake said. “I wish I had a little more Pac to my persona.”
