Dr. Dre Sues Ex-Wife Nicole Young For Allegedly Stealing $353K
The ongoing legal disputes between Dr. Dre and his ex-wife Nicole Young continues. This time around Dre is suing Young for allegedly stealing over $353K from his business bank account.
The Blast has reported and stated they have obtained legal documents of the new lawsuit. According to the documents Young is accused of stealing money from the accounts of ‘Recording One’ studio. The company was formed in 2015 under the name 13849 Ventura, LLC.
Dre’s ex-wife Nicole Young role in the company was to “maintain and control” its assets. The company entrusted Nicole with the authority to draw checks and transfer funds for the business. The suit against Young claims she withdrew $353,571.85 from the company account for personal use, claiming she has violated Penal Code 496.
“Every person who buys or receives any property that has been stolen or that has been obtained in any manner constituting theft or extortion, knowing the property to be stolen or obtained, or who conceals, sells, withholds, or aids in concealing, selling, or withholding any property from the owner…shall be punished by imprisonment in county jail for not more than one year,” the lawsuit stated.

Dr. Dre and ex-wife Nicole Young are still currently finalize their divorce settlements. Dre was ordered to pay $300K monthly in spousal support. He is required to do so “until the party receiving support remarries or enters into a new domestic partnership, [or the] death of either party.”
