Battle Raps Biggest Names Descend on NYC for URL’s “Homecoming”
This Sunday, November 6th at 3 pm ET, Ultimate Rap League (URL) – the biggest names in battle rap – makes its return to the birthplace of Hip-Hop for the first time since 2016.
The Ultimate Rap League is the premier battle rap sporting platform presenting competitive emceeing from each spectrum of the industry. The culture looks to URL as the leaders in the space, duly knighted by industry vets from Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs, J. Prince Jr., NLE Choppa, Method Man, Busta Rhymes, Floyd Mayweather, Rakim and more.
URL’s “Homecoming” will take place at the iconic Irving Plaza, delivering a can’t miss East vs. West main event that will be live streamed to audiences around the world, exclusively on the live broadcast platform, Caffeine. “Homecoming” will feature Harlem legend Murda Mook and the reigning three-time battle rap champion out of Compton, CA, Geechi Gotti.
The rest of the card features some of battle rap’s biggest legends and brightest stars including New Jersey battle rap legend, Arsonal and Brooklyn’s own Jaz the Rapper as well as Swamp, K-Shine, JakkBoy Maine, JayBlac, Viixen The Assassin, and much more.
“Homecoming” comes on the heels of URL’s viral Summer Madness event, which drew over 2M live viewers on Caffeine last month and reached the #1 trending spot on Twitter.
