Hip hop’s number one villain, 6ix9ine, returned home to New York and has announced that new music is on the way.
It’s been eight months since Tekashi 69 has released new music. Produced by Lenzo and Dr Emperor Cesar, “Giné,” was accompanied by a music video which promoted the Giné energy drink. The record landed at number 83 on the charts and just as the hype for the drink, which has yet to be officially released with no further updates on its social media accounts and website, the single came and went.
Despite being blackballed by the industry, Tekashi had previously released music which did fairly well with the backing of his loyal fan base. The Brooklyn rapper hopes to have the same support as he enters a new chapter in his music career.
6ix9ine did not preview any music yet, but has been more active on social media as he returned home to New York. “Tranna get used to being back home .. music coming soon lolzZz RawrxD :-p xoxo,” he captioned his IG post on Wednesday (November 16).
Part of his big return to NY, 6ix9ine came with gifts. Thirteen Birkin bags to be exact. The rapper took to IG as he dropped $264K in Privé Porter. “Thirteen Birkin’s stop playing with me. These are not Chanel’s,” said Tekashi as he appeared to throw shade on Drake who recently purchased Chanel bags for Miami strippers.
