6ix9ine has officially joined an elite club, as his music video “FeFe” featuring Nicki Minaj has hit a billion views.
Many rappers are quick to flex their millions of dollars on Instagram, receipts totaling six figure digits; but not many are able to claim the feat that 6ix9ine has reached. Along with Nicki Minaj, 6ix9ine’s video for his 2018 hit single “FeFe” has surpassed one billion views on YouTube. The video has over 8 million likes and continues to gain interest and comments till this day.
“I don’t even know like “Why I did that?”
– 6ix9ine, “FeFe”
I don’t even know like “Why I hit that?”
All I know is that I just can’t wife that
Talk to her nice so she won’t fight back,”
6ix9ine joins Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, as their “Still D.R.E.” music video reached 1 Billion views back in February. Dre and Snoop performing the hit single at the Super Bowl halftime show, not only helped streaming numbers, but YouTube views as well.
This incredible accomplishment by 6ix9ine comes days after the artist stated he was “struggling to make ends meet.” In the court documents obtained by Complex, Tekashi said, “I did receive large advances under the recording artist and merchandising agreements prior to my arrest. However, I do not receive any royalties under those agreements either, since my royalty accounts remain unrecouped.” (View: Tekashi 69 Broke Or Smart Business Move For His Comeback)
Tekashi and Nicki Minaj would reunite in 2020 after 6ix9ine’s release from prison. Nicki shocked the entire industry, when it was believed no one would record with 6ix9ine again. Instead, Nicki was featured on “Trollz” which landed at number one on the Billboard Hot 100. The “Trollz” music video currently sits at 385 million views.
