50 Cent Wants DaBaby To Be Better Than Him: This Is Hip Hop

Whenever 50 Cent makes headlines due to social media, most likely it is because he clowned someone or to promote a new TV series. But, this time, 50 Cent connected with DaBaby, where the rap veteran gave the hottest new star some game.

Taking it to Instagram on Tuesday night (July 13), DaBaby shared a photo of himself and 50 Cent. The six time Grammy award winner was extremely grateful for his first time interaction with 50 Cent. “Somebody I been studying for a MINUTE lent me a few hours of his time today,” DaBaby wrote in the caption on Instagram. “Ni—s so scared to let me in the room they f—ed around & let me end up in the room w/ @50cent 🤦🏾‍♂️ BIG MISTAKE!”

The 29-year-old rapper has emerged as one of the top rappers in the past three years. Racking up Billboard, BET and Grammy awards for hits such as “Rockstar”, “Himself” and “Suge”. DaBaby who has new music on the way as he told Complex News in an upcoming interview and is looking to make the best with the advice given by the rap icon 50 Cent. “Beyond grateful for the game📚. Couldn’t have come from a better source.💯 Now watch me put this shit to use👀,” DaBaby added to his caption on Instagram.

50 Cent would then reply in the comments where he was more than eager to help mentor and past the torch to the Charlotte native superstar. “I lost [Pop Smoke] before he could get it, This one already got it and he listen,” he said. “I’m a teach him all the mistakes I made, so he can be better than me. THIS IS HIP HOP!”

In related news, DaBaby received backlash for turning down two teens who tried to sell him candy for $200. In the upcoming interview with Complex news, DaBaby explains why he only gave them $2 each for a piece of candy. The rapper was trying to teach the young teens a lesson. If you try to be greedy you can end up blocking your blessings. According to DaBaby if the teens would have kept the price reasonable at first, he would have blessed them with $1,000 each.
