50 Cent Announces “8 Mile” TV Series Based Off Eminem

50 Cent vows to have an incredible 2023. Already announcing new music is on the way, 50 Cent is also bringing Eminem’s “8 Mile” to television.

Days after 50 Cent was listed on YouTube’s “Rappers with the most YouTube views in 2022,” Fif appeared on Big Boy TV where he revealed his plans for a TV series involving Eminem.

“I’m gonna bring his 8 mile to television,” revealed 50 Cent on Big Boy TV. “We in motion. I ain’t got no duds. I’m batting a 100.” And why wouldn’t 50 Cent be confident. The TV exec has been behind multiple success shows such as “Power” and “BMF.”

As Fif turns his attention to his good friend Eminem and telling one of the G.O.A.T.’s of hip hop unique story, according to 50 Cent “it should be done for his legacy.” “It’s important for me that they understand it,” explains 50 Cent. “It’s really the culture losing its color for everybody to feel like they can enjoy it and appreciate it. Because they see someone who’s accepted and respected on a whole… it makes them apart of it also.”

The 8 mile series will be a modern version showing and offering the viewer a lot more detail. It’s been twenty years since the release of Eminem’s “8 Mile” movie. A film which had great success as it opened at number one with $51.3 million grossed in its opening weekend.

Although an 8 mile TV series was agreed upon by Slim Shady, not every opportunity presented is a shoe in. Take for insistence the 2022 World Cup. According to 50 Cent there was a $9 million dollar budget to have Fif and Em on the biggest sporting event stage. The opportunity to perform in Qatar was made possible because of their performance at the 2022 Super Bowl halftime show. Unfortunately the performance did not happen. “I talked to Paul and everybody around him. They were like, ‘Yeah, he’s not gonna do it,” said 50.
