On this week’s episode of ‘Fresh Pair’ with Just Blaze and Katty Customs, the duo sat down with 3-time Grammy winner, T.I., to divulge his list of the top five most influential Atlanta rap albums which included one by 21 Savage.

T.I. immediately names OutKast’s SouthernPlayalisticCadillacMusik, an album most credited by putting Atlanta on the map, then names Goodie Mob’s first album, Soul Food. The godfather of trap rap, T.I., closed out his top 5 with Young Thug’s Slim Season, Future’s Dirty Sprite and 21 Savage’s I Am Greater Than I Was. Savage’s second studio album released in 2018 peaked at number one in the U.S. Billboard 200.

Plus, the full episode just dropped which can be seen here, as T.I.’s claims he is scared to wear his fresh pair of custom sneakers, talks trapping and much more!

Kendrick Lamar‘s Good Kid Mad City was also praised by The Game which felt A Grammy was due for Lamar’s second studio album. “I watched Kendrick in his essence, going from literally a good kid in a mad city. How he fought through being non affiliated and staying the course,” The Game said. Kendrick’s Good Kid Mad City peaked at number 2 on the Billboard 200 and sold over 3 million copies domestically.
